Dear editor,

What should we do when politicians show up at Sunday morning service? Should we welcome them with open arms by letting them use the churches as a platform for them to solicit votes? Should we as the church get up and walk out or should we just not allow politics in the House of God at all?
Personally, I think the churches are a House of Worship, nowhere in the Bible does it say we are supposed to abuse them as a political platform. First of all, we know there are going to be a lot of “LIES” told about what they’re going to do, if elected. Telling “LIES” in the House of God, that tells us as a people there is “NO FEAR OF THE LORD.”
Once we put you all in office with our votes, you all “FLIP THE SCRIPT” by showing “FAVORITISM” to a certain group of people, organizations, or people of status. If you all are scared to do your jobs to make it right for everybody, you all need to step down.
Stop the “FREE PAYCHECK.” We know politicians are corrupt, we’re seeing it every day. They come before the people like sheep, but they’re wolves in sheep clothing. Using trickery and deception.
God said he will judge the world with righteousness and justice. We live in a broken world with so much UNFAIRNESS and DISCORD, but we the people here in Vicksburg need to take a “STAND FOR WHAT IS RIGHT.”
Stop turning your heads, when you see things are not right with our political officials. As long as you’re not saying anything, they’re going to do what they do, WHICH IS NOTHING.
One thing about God He is not going to “JUDGE” based on appearance or status, but He will make “FAIR DECISIONS.”
