Timothy “Tim” O’Donnell Farren

TROY, Ala. — Timothy “Tim” O’Donnell Farren of Troy, formerly of Vicksburg, died Thursday, Jan. 23, 2015, at his home. He was 40.

Born on Sept. 6, 1974, in Omaha, Neb., Mr. Farren was the son of Jack and Ann Farren.

After graduating from St. Aloysius High School, he attended Louisiana State University, where he received an industrial engineering degree.

He moved to Troy to work for Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and helping others, especially children.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ann Donahoe Farren; brother, Michael Francis; and sister, Sheila Marie.

Survivors include his father, Jack Farren; three brothers, John Farren, Mark Farren and Kevin Farren; his sister, Ann Marie Francis; and eight nephews and nieces.

A Mass of the Resurrection is today, Jan. 28, at 2:30 p.m. at Saint Martin of Tours, 725 Elba Highway, in Troy with Father Irwin officiating.

A private burial will be at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens, Cumming, Ga.
