Anneice Poole

Anneice “Ann” Poole died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015, at River Region Medical Center. She was 91.

Born in Rolling Fork, she had been a resident of Vicksburg most of her life. Mrs. Poole was the daughter of the late James M. Buford and Clementine Roberts Buford. She was member of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Herbert Poole Sr.; one son, Herbert “Herby” Poole Jr. (Nita) of Vicksburg; two daughters, Anna Leigh Buford of Vicksburg and Susan Poole of Jackson; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

The family would like to express their thanks to Gentiva Home Health for the love and care given to their wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

A Celebration of Mrs. Poole’s life will be 11 a.m. Friday at Cedar Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Parker officiating. Visitation will be Friday at Riles Funeral Home from 9:30 a.m. until the service.

Pallbearers will be Herbert Poole III, Nicholas Poole, Chad Cooper and Kody Britt.
