Edith Lorraine Bender of Vicksburg died on Monday, Feb. 9, 2015, at her home.  She was 80.

She was the daughter of the late Joe and Dersye Neeley Friley.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Bender, and her daughter, Tammy Jo Bender.

Survivors include her sons, Terry Bender, William Patrick Bender, Robert Bender, Ronnie L. Bender, all of Vicksburg, and Steven L. Bender of Houma, La.; a daughter, Debra Peyton of Vicksburg; 17  grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be noon Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015, at the home of Cathy and William Bender, 4621 Lee Road. Family and friends are invited to attend.
