Vicksburg Warren schools will have early dismissal Monay due to inclement weather.
Vicksburg Warren School District Superintendent Chad Shealy said the decision to close the schools early was based on correspondence with John Elfer, Director of Warren County Emergency Management.

“Elementary schools will close at 1:00 p.m., junior highs at 2:05 p.m. and high schools at 2:20 p.m.,” Shealy said.

All afternoon school activities have been cancelled as well, Shealy said.

A meeting will be held later Monay to determine school schedules for Tuesday.

Porter’s Chapel Academy and Vicksburg Catholic School are still planning to release at their regularly scheduled times, but all after school activities have been cancelled.
