Donald Clarence Geoghegan Sr.

Donald Clarence Geoghegan Sr. died Sunday, March 8, 2015, at Natchez Regional Medical Center. He was 93.

Born to Claude Stewart Geoghegan and Rennie Vaughan Geoghegan on February 24, 1922, he was a native and lifelong resident of Jefferson County. During WWII, he served in Europe during several battles and received several awards. He was an active member of Stanton Baptist Church.

He is survived by his son, Donald C. Geoghegan  Jr., of Port Gibson; sisters, Rennie Geoghegan, of Natchez and Lydia Magee of Brookhaven; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, March 12, 2015, at Fayette City Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Purvis officiating.
