Funeral services for Irene Dee are 11 a.m. Saturday, March 14, 2015, in the chapel of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Irene Dee died Friday, March 6, 2015, at University Medical Center following a brief illness. She was 58. She was a homemaker and member of the Bright Morning Star M.B. Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Rosie Buck Dee.

She is survived by her sons, Eddie Dee and Dennis Dee Sr.,; her daughter, LaShonada Lovette, all of Vicksburg; three brothers, Leon Dee of Foreman, Ark., Henry Dee Jr., of Vicksburg, and L.C. Dee, of Utica; four sisters, Mary Pettis and Cary Dee of Vicksburg, Betty Miller of Utica, and Bernice Adams, of Burnbridge, Ala.; eight grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews cousin and others.
