HAZELHURST — Funeral services for J. C. Crump will be 3 p.m. Saturday, March 28, 2015, at St. Peter’s Rescue Mission M. B. Church of Hazlehurst with the Rev. Jimmy Crump officiating. Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Mr. Crumb died Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Sharkey Issaquena County Hospital. He was 75.

He was a retired farmer and was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Annie Wilson Crump .

Survivors include two sons, Clinton Crump of Vicksburg and Jimmy Crump of Hazlehurst; daughter, Denise Crump of Vicksburg; brother, Darnell Crump of Detroit; sister, Mattie Magee of Hazlehurst; nine other siblings; and grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
