Charlene Marie Jones died on March 25, 2015 at Central Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

Ms. Jones was born on April 1, 1967, in Kansas City, Kansas. She moved to Vicksburg at an early age, and was a member of Mt. Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church of Freetown. She recently retired after 20 years at Cooper Lightning (Eaton)

She was preceded in death by her parents, Percy Jones and Julia Be Jones; and grandparents, Beatrice Norfort and Robert Norfort.

Survivors include six brothers, Herbert Norfort, Hugh Norfort and Jerome Jones all of Vicksburg, Percy Jones of Macomb, Mich., Alonzo Jones of Chalmette, La., and Darrell Jones of Kansas City, Kansas; two sisters, her twin Darlene Wells of Vicksburg and Surflorunia Beasley of Memphis, Tenn.; and nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts and other relatives and friends.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 4, 2015, at Zion Travelers Missionary Baptist Church with Dr. John Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Friday from 1 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
