Linda Hancock Kennedy

AZOO CITY — Linda Hancock Kennedy, 52, of Russellville Road, Bentonia, passed away at her residence Tuesday March 31, 2015.

A member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, she was a registered nurse at Sta Home Health Agency.

Mrs. Kennedy graduated from Bentonia High School. She received her liberal arts and nursing degrees from Hinds Community College, and her bachelor of bcience in nursing from Mississippi College.

Survivors are her husband, Todd Kennedy of Bentonia; daughter, Junae (Joseph) Brooks of Holly Bluff; son, Todd (Kelli) Kennedy Jr. of Holly Bluff; mother, Hazel Hancock of Bentonia, sisters, Glenda Creech Tait of Bentonia and Patricia (Andy) Burt of Vicksburg; grandchildren, Brady Brooks, Kelsie Kennedy, Brant Brooks, and nieces & nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her father, A. J. Hancock; and brother, Jimmy Hancock.

Visitation is today from 5 to 7 p.m. at Stricklin-King Funeral Home in Yazoo City, and Friday, April 3, 2015, from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral  at Oak Grove Baptist Church with theRev. Charlie Harris and the Rev. Hal Selby officiating.

Pall bearers are Dwayne Kennedy, Dan Kennedy, Greg Mitchell, Scott Williams, Darin Strobel and Jimmy Warren. Honorary pallbearers are Mike Ainsworth, David Groge, Hugh Martin, Leon Coody, Mike McGraw, Milton Ward, Blue Cantrell, James Barlow and Tommy Hancock.
