Funeral services for Robert Henry Pierce Jr. will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 4, 2015, at Locust Grove M. B. Church with the Rev. Robert L. Miller Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Friday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Pierce died Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Merit Health River Region Medical Center. He was 73.

He was retired from Cappert Manufactured Housing, and was a member and deacon of Locust Grove M. B. Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert H. and Louella Myles Pierce Sr.; sisters Gloria Jean Pierce, Mary Jane Hopkins, Shirley Pierce and Delores Leggett,

Suvivors include his wife, Barbara Pierce of Vicksburg; two sons, Derrick Anthony Pierce and Danny Anderson both of Vicksburg; two daughters, Sharon Annie Pierce Saldana of Baton Rouge, La., and Debra Denise Pierce, of Atlanta; brother, Charles Pierce of Del Rio, Texas; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
