Sylvester Henyard died Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at his home. He was 62.

He was born October 28, 1952 in Woodville, to Alberta and David Henyard.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Alberta Henyard, and his father, David Henyard, and two brothers, Walter Henyard and Charles Henyard.

Survivors include two sisters, Bertha Henyard of Vicksburg, and Ethel Mae Brown-Miles, of Woodville; six brothers, Roosevelt Henyard and Michael Henyard, both of Vicksburg, George Henyard, David Henyard, Jr., and Jessie Ray Henyard, all of Woodville, and Joseph Conrad, of Natchez; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives including the Bell, Dixon, Moore, and Banks families of Vicksburg, and the Prater, McFarland, and Jarvis families of Natchez, Woodville, and Baton Rouge.

Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday, April 6, 2015 at Dillon-Chisley Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 1 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
