PORT GIBSON — Rubia Lee Harper-Wilson died Friday, April 3, 2015, at her home. She was 93.

Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her parents, James Sr. and Oliver Harper; her husband, Johnnie Wilson Sr.; a son, Ronnie Wilson; and a stepson, Leonard Wilson Sr.

Survivors include three daughters, Willie Ruth Wilson of Port Gibson, Bedelia Allen of Gladstone, Mo., and Delia Monroe of Warner Robins, Ga.; two sons, Johnnie Wilson Jr. of Vicksburg and Everette Wilson of Phoenix; two sisters, Hattie Neal of Marrero, La., and Annie Laura Moore of Jackson; a brother, Arthur Harper of Hemet, Calif.; three grandchildren; one step-grandchild; five great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends, including a special granddaughter and special friends.

Services will be 2 p.m., Sunday, April 12, 2015, at First Seventh Day Adventist Church in Port Gibson, with Elder Johnny Ray officiating. Burial will be at Carbondale Cemetery in the West Side Community under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home Inc. of Port Gibson.

Visitation will be Saturday from 1p.m. to 6p.m. at the funeral home, and Sunday at the church from 1p.m. until the service.
