Funeral services for Mary L. Jackson will be Thursday, April 16, at Vicksburg Church of Christ at 11 a.m. with the Pastor Larry Macomber officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Visitation will be visitation from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Jackson died Sunday, April 5, 2015, at Merit Health River Region Medical Center. She was 92.

She was retired, having worked as a home caregiver.

She was preceded in death by her parents, the Rev. Robert and Minerva Rodgers; husband, Ephraim Jackson; brothers, Joseph Rodgers, Abie Lee Rodgers, Henry James Rodgers, John C. Rodgers and Leon C. Rodgers; and sister, Addie B. Rodgers.

Survivors include her sisters Bertha L. McQua, Bessie E. Williams and Edith Rodgers, all of Chicago; and nieces, nephews, cousins and others family members and friends.
