Barbara Sue Guice

Barbara Sue Guice died Sunday, April 19, 2015, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. She was 68.

Born and reared in Natchez, she had made her home in Vicksburg since 1972. She was an active member of First Baptist Church where she served in the nursery.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Polly Wilfong Williams; husband, Glen Ray Guice; and four sisters, Juanita Smith, Shirley Rogers, Carolyn Lambert and Patricia Ainsworth.

Survivors include her son, Melvin Guice of Vicksburg; three daughters, Beverly Guice, Evette Arnold and Gwen Guice, all of Vicksburg; and six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at First Baptist Church with Dr. Matt Buckles, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Gabby Hays, Nathaniel Guice, Dalton Arnold, Taegan Guice, Calvin Pugh and Bill Collins.
