Ruby Lee Moore passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Merit Health River Region Hospital following a lengthy illness.  She was 69.  She was a retired LPN and was a member of the Mt. Eden M. B. Church where she was a secretary of the church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ettee Hughes Miller; her husband, McKinley Moore, Jr.; her maternal grandparents, Jones and Emma Hughes Stokes; and her paternal grandparents, James and Nancy Miller, Sr.

She is survived by four sons, McKinley Moore III of Hampton, Ga., Rodney Moore of Stone Mountain, Ga., Terrence Moore of Lithonia, Ga. and Corey Moore of Stockbridge,  Ga.; and her daughter, Audrey Gail Sylvester of Redwood; three brothers, James Miller Jr. of Kountze, Texas, George Miller of Beaumont, Texas, and Jonas Miller of Kountz, Texas; four sisters, Jannie Miller of SeaTac, Wash., Arlene Miller of Renton, Wash., Paula Michelle Davis of Burien, Wash. and Gracie Miller of Renton, Wash.; 19 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and others.

Funeral services will be at noon on Thursday, April 23, 2015 in the Greater Grove Street M. B. Church with the Rev. Steve Randle officiating; interment shall follow in the Evergreen Cemetery with W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home in charge.  A visitation hour will be from 6 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 in the chapel at W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home.
