Mrs. Wilma K. McDonald

ANGUILLA — Wilma K. McDonald died Monday, April 27, 2015, at Sharkey-Issaquena Hospital in Rolling Fork. She was 90.

Mrs. McDonald was born March 18,1925, in Yazoo County. She graduated from Belhaven University and taught music in many schools throughout Mississippi. She had been a resident of Anguilla since 1971, and played piano at Straight Bayou Baptist Church for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas McDonald; a sister, Vadine White; and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.Y. Keith.

Survivors include two daughters Wilda Grace Janes of Anguilla and Terry Keith McMahon of Rolling Fork; and three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, April 30, 2015, at Straight Bayou Baptist Church with the Rev. Tom Metcalf, the Rev. Calvin Price and the Rev. Beth Miller officiating. Burial will follow at the cemetery.

Visitation is 5 to 6:30 p.m. today at Glenwood Funeral Home in Rolling Fork.

Pallbearers will be John Alexander, Jason Alexander, Leighton Janes, Parker Janes, Bryant Lary, Robert Hodnett, Matthew McMahon, and Thomas McMahon. Honorary Pallbeares will be the men of Straight Bayou Baptist Church and Tyler Blackburn.
