OAK GROVE, La. — Funeral services for Linda Gale Anderson, age 64, of Vicksburg will be 2 p.m., Sunday, May 3, 2015, at Cox Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Mote officiating. Interment will be at Kilbourne Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Sunday from noon to 2 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home.

Linda was born March 23, 1951, in Oak Grove passed away April 30, 2015 in Vicksburg.

She was one of 13 children. She grew up in Oak Grove and Port Gibson. She married and made her home in Mississippi. She enjoyed music, reading, and traveling with her husband. She loved her family and was loved in return. She will be missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Gibson and Floy Bridges; husband, Telford “Ike” Deere; brothers, Larry, Roger, and Mark Bridges; sisters, Lucille Deere and Tonie Easterling.

Linda is survived by her husband, Drew Anderson of Vicksburg; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Steve Holden of Flowood and Carol and Chad McGaha of Oak Grove; two stepsons, Andrew Anderson of Council Bluff, Iowa, and Adam Anderson of Huntsville, Ala.; four grandchildren, Zachary Randolph, Mack Randolph, Amber Russell, Regan Russell; four sisters, Peggy Hill and Kate Montgomery, both of Vicksburg, Hilda Anderson of Oak Grove and Iris Hogg of Vicksburg; three brothers, Carl Bridges of Grenada, Arthur Bridges of Redwood and Curtis Bridges of Oak Grove.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Deere, Steve Montgomery, Hicks Bradley, Andrew Anderson, Carl Bridges, Adam Anderson.
