Dr. Krishna Aditya died Sunday, May 3, 2015. He was 56 years old.
He lived in Vicksburg and worked at Alcorn State University as a professor of computer science for 19 years. He began his instructional services at ASU as an assistant professor in 1996 and moved up as a professor in computer and mathematical sciences.
He has graduate degrees in electronic engineering from India, and a master’s degree and Ph.D. in computer engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He worked on “wavelet transformation” for his doctoral dissertation.
At Alcorn State University, he mentored and supported numerous undergraduate and graduate students in computer science. He was well-respected as a scholar and teacher in computer science by his professional colleagues and students. He will be greatly missed.
A memorial Service will be held at end of this month, when all family members will be here.
He is survived by wife, Mrs. Shashi Aditya Krishna; two sons, Madhu and Aniruddh.
