Joyce Marie Lindsey Meadows, 94, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.

Visitation is today, 5 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, May 13, 2015, from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. funeral service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence.

Burial will follow at Faith Baptist Church.

Mrs. Meadows was a resident of Florence for the past seven years, moving from Vicksburg. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. A lifelong caregiver, she spent most of her life as a beautician and the last few years at Burger King, retiring at age 80.

Mrs. Meadows is survived by her son, Ricky Meadows of Vicksburg; daughter, Janet (Larry) Langston of Florence; brothers, Alex Lindsey of Ocean Springs and James Robert Lindsey of Gulfport; sister, Nan Keith of Greenville; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
