Matthew Williams Jr. died Saturday, June 27, 2015, in Brandon. He was 57.

Mr. Williams was born Feb. 17, 1958. He served in the U.S. Navy and was the owner of Williams Funeral Service. He was living in Brandon at the time of his death.

He was preceded in death by his father, Matthew Williams Sr.; maternal grandparents, Jim Green and Ernestine Green; and paternal grandparents Estes Williams Sr. and Lucy Williams.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby Williams; his children, Fernando Jamaal Williams, Germaine D. “Geri” Williams, Matthew “Trey” Williams III, Derrick Wince; his mother, Shirley Williams, sister, Donna R. Williams; brothers, Larry Williams “Butter”, Freddie Williams; three grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

Memorial Services are 10 a.m. Friday, July 2, 2015, at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
