Dorothy Daphine James of Cleveland died Sept. 4, 2015, at Bolivar Medical Center in Cleveland. She was 84.

She was a resident of Vicksburg and later moved to Cleveland.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Durwood James Sr., and her son, Larry James.

Survivors include by one son Butch (Sissy) James of Rosedale.

Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015, at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. Roger Cresswell officiating, and under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Tuesday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the hour of service.
