A look at how college football players from the Vicksburg area did in games played over the weekend.

• Mississippi State punter Devon Bell (Warren Central) didn’t punt, but did record five touchbacks on eight kickoffs in a 62-13 win over Northwestern State. Bell also went 2-for-2 on PAT attempts.

• Southern Miss offensive lineman Norman Price (Vicksburg) started at right tackle in a 56-50 win over Texas State.

• Belhaven offensive lineman Steve Cooper (Vicksburg) started at left guard in a 42-21 loss to Mississippi College.

• Mississippi College running back Darius Youngblood (Vicksburg) played, but did not have a carry or reception, against Belhaven.

• Delta State linebacker Ledarion Robinson (Hinds AHS) had one solo tackle and two assists in a 51-18 win over Kentucky Wesleyan.

• Louisiana Tech cornerback Adairius Barnes (Port Gibson) had four solo tackles and two pass breakups in a 39-33, triple-overtime loss to Kansas State.

• Kentucky safety A.J. Stamps (Vicksburg) had two solo tackles and one pass breakup in a 14-9 loss to Florida.
