Funeral services for Michael Eddie Sheard will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015, at Dillon-Chisley Funeral Home with the Rev. Clarence Dunmore Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Sheard died Friday, Sept. 25, 2015, at Shady Lawn Nursing Home. He was 60.

Born and reared in Vicksburg, he was a graduate of North Vicksburg High School and attended Mississippi Valley State University. He was a former member of Holly Grove M.B. Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Ed Sheard and Willie Bell Sheard; and two brothers, Peter Anderson and Herman Anderson.

Survivors include a brother, the Rev. James Sheard; two sisters, Lucille Clay and Gwendolyn Ware, all of Vicksburg; and nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
