SAGINAW, Mich. — Albert Lewis Sr., a former resident of Vicksburg, died Thursday, Oct. 8, 2015, at his home. He was 67.

He was a 1967 graduate of Rosa A. Temple High School and a former member of Pleasant Valley M.B. Church.

Mr. Lewis was preceded in death by his wife, Gereldeen Jenkins Lewis; fathers, Luther Lewis and the Rev. Alex Miller Sr. grandparents, John and Earline Mack King; brothers, Alex Miller Jr., Harry M. Miller and Joseph Miller; and an uncle, John King Jr.

Survivors include his son and daughter, Albert Lewis Jr., and Angel Lewis, both of Saginaw; mother, Clara L. Miller; sisters, Doris Miller Carter, Everlyn M. Smith, Clara L. Walker, Debra Miller Garden and Sarah J. Ross; brothers, David Miller, Curtis Miller, Tyrone Miller and Kenneth Miller, all of Vicksburg; grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
