Lloyd Wallace “Wally” Adams

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Lloyd Wallace “Wally” Adams passed away peacefully at home in Indianapolis Sunday, Oct. 18, 2015.
He was born Feb. 5, 1936, in Elmira, New York, and graduated from Falls Church High School, Falls Church, Virginia in 1954.
He served in the U. S. Air Force and attended Hinds Junior College in Raymond. He was employed as a DJ in the 60s and 70s at several stations in Vicksburg, Yazoo City, Columbus, Helena, Arkansas, and Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He was fondly known as “Uncle Wally.”
He worked for the U.S. Government at the Waterways Experimental Station in Vicksburg and the Bureau of Reclamation in Lakewood, Colorado, from which he retired in 1994.
He was self-employed as a web site designer after retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Michele, four sons and one daughter, Paul W. Adams of Pittsburg, Lloyd J. (Jodie) Adams of Sheldon, Iowa, Michael E. Adams of Denver, Paula A Eldridge of Covington, Louisiana, and Keith A Lambert Sr. of Conway, Arkansas; and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
