Warren Cecil Womack, Jr.

UTICA – Warren Cecil Womack, Jr. died Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015, at University Medical Center in Jackson. He was 50.

Born in Vicksburg, he lived most of his life in the Utica area. He was formerly employed with Delta Marine Towing in Baton Rouge as an engineer.

He was a member of the Utica Christian Church.

Survivors include his mother, Lillie Mae Carraway of Utica; his father, Cecil Womack Sr. of Utica; his step-father, Bill Carraway of Utica; four sisters, Shirley Renfroe, Anna Marie Carraway of Utica, Michelle Gray of Pratt, Kan. and Donna Boyd of Vicksburg; two brothers, Kirk Womack of Rolling Fork and Brook Carraway of Vicksburg and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 26, 2015, at the Utica Christian Church with the Rev. Brad Hartzog officiating. Interment will follow in the Utica Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church at 9:30 a.m. Monday until the hour of the service.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Mathes, Sidney Mathes Jr., Wayne Mathes, Pat Womack, Steve Angel and Ronnie Daniels.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dan Griffin, Ernest Mathes, Lowell Mims and Jerry Lewis.

Glenwood Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
