HERMANVILLE — Clara Ree White died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2015, at Merit River Region Medical Center in Vicksburg. She was 84.

Mrs. White was preceded in death by her parents, J.L. and Minnie Lucas; a son, Calvin W. White; and a brother, Isiah Lucas.

Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn R. Hill of Hermanville; two sisters, Lucille Vance of Detroit and Willie Bell Parker-Green of Port Gibson; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 22, 2015, at Freedman Hall M.B. Church in Hermanville with the Rev. Johnny Hughes officiating, assisted by the Rev. H.E. Banks, pastor of the church. Burial will be at the church cemetery under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home Inc. of Port Gibson.

Visitation will be Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home, and Saturday at the church from 1:30 p.m. until the service.
