Joe McClain Crow Jr., 91, died Nov. 21, 2015, at Merit Health River Region Medical Center.

He was born January 16, 1924 in Ruleville. He was a veteran of the Navy, a civil engineering graduate of Mississippi State University and retired from the Vicksburg District Corps of Engineers in 1986 as chief of Design Branch. He was a life member/fellow of ASCE.

He is survived by his wife, Louise Crow of Vicksburg; a son, Danny M. Crow (Becky) of Ellicott City, Maryland; his daughters, Patti Robinson (Mike) of Vicksburg and Miriam Stephenson (Alan) of Calhoun, Louisiana; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2015, at Trinity Baptist Church.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the service followed by burial at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.

Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the men of Trinity Baptist Church.
