Man arrested on U.S. Marshal warrant

A man wanted on a warrant from the U.S. Marshal Service was arrested Monday in Warren County.
Eric Anderson, 41, 10150 Highway 61S Lot 15, was arrested Monday on a warrant where he was wanted in Oregon on a 10 count felony indictment including burglary and larceny, Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace and Lt. Randy Lewis said.
Anderson is being held in the Warren County jail Tuesday awaiting extradition, Lewis said.
Gunshot damaged window of home
The window of a home in the 1400 block of Harrison Street was damaged when someone fired a shot at the home early Sunday morning, Vicksburg police Capt. Sandra Williams said.
The owner of the home told officers he heard a shot about 5 a.m. Sunday, went to investigate and saw a bullet had gone through a bedroom window.
No one was injured and there are no suspects in the shooting.
Purse, jewelry reported missing from cars
Items were reported missing into auto burglaries that occurred Friday and Saturday, Vicksburg police Capt. Sandra Williams said.
A purse was reported missing from a 2003 Saturn parked in the 1300 block of Openwood Street about 4:30 p.m. Friday.
About 2:45 p.m. Saturday, jewelry valued at $400 was reported missing form a 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe parked in the 3400 block of Wisconsin.
Car, trailer reported missing
A car and a trailer were reported missing Sunday in separate cases investigated Sunday by Warren County sheriff’s deputies, according to sheriff’s department reports.
A light-blue 1997 Chrysler Newport valued at $2,000 was reported missing about 1 p.m. Sunday from a home in the 5200 block of Naylor Road.
More than an hour later, at 2:22 p.m., a four-horse horse trailer, valued at $12,000 was reported missing from a home in the 7000 block of Miss. 27.
