Man, woman held for possession

A Warren County man and woman accused of obtaining taken items were held without bail Monday.
Charles “Chaz” Fowler II, 24, 4407 Halls Ferry Road Lot 3, and Teddy Jo Flowers, 22, 4601 Halls Ferry Road, were arrested at 8 a.m. Sunday and charged with possession of stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia, Sheriff Martin Pace said.
Deputies were trying to locate an individual with a felony warrant on the 2200 block of Mt. Alban Road when instead they found Fowler who ran from them, Pace said.
Fowler ran to a pickup truck pulling a commercial size grill mounted on a trailer that said Robert’s Company, Pace said. Robert’s Company is the parent company of Corner Market. Deputies found the Corner Market store located on North Frontage Road had reported the grill stolen, Pace said.
One held for stealing
A Vicksburg man accused of stealing a transfer truck and stealing from a home was held without bail Monday.
Michael Wayne Scallions, 55, 4749 North Washington St., was arrested Sunday and charged with felony vehicle theft in Warren County and is being detained for Yazoo County for residential burglary, Pace said.
Yazoo County officials contacted Warren County officials saying a witness saw a man fleeing an old planation home in Yazoo County with items in the back of a truck and were able to get a description and a Warren County license plate number, Pace said. The vehicle the witness saw leaving the seen was parked behind Scallions home when officers arrived at his house, Pace said.
Officers tried to get Scallions to answer his door, but when he did not leave the house, the officers obtained a search warrant and went inside, Pace said.
Scallions did not resist arrest, Pace said. Most, if not all, of the stolen property, including antiques, from the Yazoo County home were recovered at Scallions home, Pace said.
Scallions was already a suspect in the Friday, Dec. 4 report of a transfer truck being stolen on Highway 61N in Warren County, Pace said. The transfer truck had already been recovered in Delta, La., Pace said.
One held for contraband
A Tallulah woman accused of attempting to bring drugs into the Warren County jail was held without bail Monday.
Kanisha Lashae Wiley, 25, 105 Henderson St. Tallulah, La., was arrested Sunday and charged with attempting to introduce contraband into a correctional facility, Pace said.
Wiley was being searched during a routine check to enter the jail for visitation hours when the security staff discovered she had numerous drinking straws with marijuana, Pace said.
Vehicle missing
A vehicle was missing Monday following a burglary reported Sunday in Warren County.
At 7:41 a.m. Sunday, a red 2002 Ford F150 was reported stolen from Hackberry Drive, according to Warren County jail records.
Electronics missing in theft
Electronics were missing Monday following a theft reported Saturday in Warren County.
At 6 p.m. Saturday a 22-inch Samsung flat screen television and a PlayStation 3 were missing from a home on the 4900 block of Halls Ferry Road, according to Warren County jail records.
Electronics missing in burglary
Electronics were missing Monday following a burglary reported Friday in Warren County.
At 4:30p.m. Friday, a 32-inch Sano television, a 19-inch Visio television, Beats by Dre, miscellaneous jewelry and a hands free micro ear piece were reported stolen from a home on the 700 block of Highway 61N, according to Warren County jail records.
Cash missing from car
Cash was missing Monday following a burglary reported Friday in Warren County.
At 10 a.m. Friday cash was reported stolen from a vehicle that had been left unlocked on North Drive, according to Warren County jail records.
Items missing from shed
Items were missing Monday following a burglary reported in Warren County Sunday.
Sunday a woman reported items had been stolen from her shed on Post Oak Lane, according to Warren County jail records.
Items missing from home
Toys and games were missing Monday following a burglary reported Friday in Vicksburg. At 5 p.m. Friday, a MacBook, two Nintendo’s, a remote control 4-wheeler, two scooters, toy cars and a set of dolls were reported stolen from a home on the 1000 block of Stadium Drive, Vicksburg police Capt. Sandra Williams said.
One held for firearm
A Vicksburg man accused of having a gun after being convicted of a felony was held without bail Monday.
Derrick Turner, 36, 2619 Washington St., was arrested near Locust and Jackson streets at 1:20 a.m. Sunday and charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, Williams said.
One held for warrant
A Vicksburg man was held without bail Monday for the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
Donald Gray, 50, 2 Briar Lane, was arrested at 1 a.m. Sunday and held Monday on a warrant from MDOC, Williams said.
One held for MDOC
A Vicksburg man was held without bail Monday for the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
Dwayne Evans, 36, 175 Elizabeth Circle, was arrested at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Vicksburg Police Department for a misdemeanor and held Monday on a warrant for MDOC, Williams said.
One held for Louisiana
A Warren County man was held without bail Monday for the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
Allen Warner, 35, 1951 Highway 80, was arrested at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Vicksburg Police Department and was found to be wanted in Louisiana, Williams said.
One held for warrant
A Warren County man was held without bail Monday for the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
Patrick Rader, 103 Cross Drive, was arrested at 1:30 a.m. Sunday on Clay Street and was held Monday on a warrant from MDOC, Williams said.
