Funeral services for Ella M. Gale will be noon Monday, Dec. 28, 2015, at House of Peace Worship Ministries with the Rev. Richard Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery with under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Sunday from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Gale died Sunday, Dec. 20, 2015, at the home of her son surrounded by family. She was 77.  She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her father, Willie Gaskin, and her mother, Josephine Haggan.

Survivors include her five sons, J. C Gayle Jr., William James Gale and Ronald Wayne Gale, all of Jackson; Christopher Maurice Gale of Hattiesburg and William Davis of Vicksburg; two daughters, Cheryl Simpson of Vicksburg and Joyce Annette Gale of San Bernadino, Calif.; brother, Levi Frazier; two sisters, Eunice Norfort of Vicksburg and Dorothy Batiste of New Cuyuma, Calif.; 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild, and nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
