Billy Ray Adams died Monday Dec. 21, 2015, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He was 63.

Mr. Adams had lived in Forest for the past four years, moving from Louisiana. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Louisiana. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Emmett and Annie Adams; and brothers, Roy Adams and Joe Adams.

Survivors include by his wife, Melody Adams of Forest; two sons, Billy W. Adams of Vicksburg and Eric Adams (Brenda) of Pelahatchie; one sister, Helen Luckett of Louisiana; two brothers, Emmett Adams of Louisiana and Jim Adams of Louisiana; five grandchildren and other relatives.

Memorial Services are 3 p.m. today, Dec. 29, 2015, at Wolf Funeral Services Chapel in Morton, with Bro. Jerry Holmes officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home in Monroe, La., or Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital in Jackson.
