PEARL — Chad Ryan Andrews died unexpectedly Dec. 22, 2015, peacefully sleeping with his arms around his wife at his Pearl home. He was 28 years old.
Chad is survived by his wife, Samantha Andrews of Pearl; his 4-year-old son, Jonathon Ryan Andrews of Pearl; and his stepson, Levi Redmond Self of Pearl. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Marie (Romano) Strong of Pearl; Paternal grandparents, Nina (Quidor) Andrews of Vicksburg Jimmy Ray Andrews of Vicksburg, and Diane (Ivy) Andrews of Vicksburg.
Other family members include a brother, Brandon Andrews (Tiffany), his parents, Ray and Patricia Andrews; as well as aunts and uncles, Sondra and Dyrk Trosclair, Clayton Strong Jr., Katherine and Tony Nosrat, Charlene Strong, and Karla and Danny Williamson.
His grandmother-in-law was Sylvia Williamson, and his many nieces and nephews include Gabby Andrews, Jon Michael Day, Carter Griffing Wyatt Rogers, Daniel Shelley, Aubrie Grace Shelley, Tanner Shelley, Benji Day and Tristan Day, as well as many cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Clayton Strong Sr.; maternal uncle Thomas Strong; and paternal uncle Kris Andrews.
A special thank you goes out to several special friends, Josh, Jacob, Stevie and Hope, who have been extremely supportive to Samantha during this difficult time.
Chad was born July 25, 1987 in Vicksburg. He graduated from Pearl High School in 2005 and married his true love, Samantha, in April 2014. He was a flag football coach for Pearl Youth Sports as Levi’s coach and the rest of the Monstarz.
He worked nights at Metal Coaters Mississippi and will not only be missed by his friends and family but also by his co-workers. Chad loved his wife and boys with everything he had. He enjoyed spending time with the kids, playing video games, watching movies with his wife and teaching his boys Levi and Jonathon how to fish, hunt, shoot and ride BMX.
Chad was cremated per his wishes and his ashes were brought home to his wife Samantha on Christmas Eve. A memorial is being planned to celebrate Chad’s life and details will be forthcoming. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pearl Youth Sports Association in his name.
