A gun was missing Wednesday following a burglary reported Wednesday in Warren County.

A 9 mm Taurus, thought to have been stolen overnight, was reported stolen Wednesday morning from a Nissan Armada in the Melissa Drive area off Freetown Road, according to Warren County sheriff’s records. Another vehicle in the same area was reported to have been rummaged through but nothing was missing.

 

One held on three charges

A Vicksburg man accused of assault and kidnapping was held without bail Wednesday.

John Hicks, 33, 211 Belva Drive, was arrested Tuesday and charged with kidnapping, assault and aggravated use of deadly weapon, according to Warren County jail records.
