Funeral services for Norval V. Beacham Jr. will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Malcolm O’Leary officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

A Rosary will be said 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Beacham died Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016, at Vicksburg Convalescent Home. He was 77.

He was retired from International Paper Co. and the city of Vicksburg, and was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force and member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Norval V. Beacham Sr.; and wife, Florine Beacham.

Survivors include his mother, Freddie Lee Swanagan Beacham of Vicksburg; son, Channing Burden of Vicksburg; seven daughters, Cynthia Beacham Sims and F. Regina Beacham Watson, both of Vicksburg, Noreen Beacham Jones , Evelyn Beacham, Gwendolyn Beacham Hall and Miriam Beacham Griffin, all of Atlanta, and Monica Beacham Gregory of Dallas, Texas; brother Jessie Lee Beacham of Columbia, S.C.; and two sisters, Norma Beacham Brown of Portland, Ore., and Joyce Beacham of Vicksburg, 16 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
