PORT GIBSON — Carolyn R. Hall died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016 at University Medical Center in Jackson.

Ms. Hall was a member and usher at New Christian Fellowship Church, and was a music teacher at A.W. Watson Elementary School.

She was preceded in death by her father, Earnest Hall Sr.; and a brother, Stephen Hall.

Survivors include two daughters, Shreva Bell of Olive Branch and AnnTwanette Chase of Houston, Texas; mother, Pearl A. Hall of Port Gibson; two brothers, Earnest Hall Jr. of Vicksburg and Anthony Hall of Collierville, Tenn.; two sisters, Vivian Carroll of Pattison and Sylvia Hall of Port Gibson; a special sister-in-law; four grandchildren; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 13, 2014, at New Christian Fellowship Church in Port Gibson with Randall Burge officiating. Burial will be at Atlas Family Cemetery under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home Inc. of Port Gibson.

Visitation will be Friday from 1 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home, and Saturday from 1 p.m. until service time at the church.
