LELAND — Willis “W. C.” Campbell died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016, at Delta Regional Medical Center. He was 74.

Mr. Campbell came to Leland in the late 1970s after living in Vicksburg. He worked as a service tech at the Big Ten Tire Company. He later drove trucks for many years before retiring because of his health.

He was the son of the late Willis and Sarah Campbell of Edwards.

Survivors include four sons, Michael Campbell of Aurora, Colo., Willis Campbell III of Chicago, Charles Willis and Ronnie Campbell, both of Chicago and Deltonya Taliaferro of Greenville; three brothers, Larry Campbell of Chicago, James Campbell of Lafayette, Ind., and Rex L. Campbell of Chicago; a sister, Mary Armstrong of Leland; one sister-in-law; six grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016, at St. John Baptist Church, Leland with the

Rev. W. Powell officiating.

Visitation will be Friday from 2 to 5 pm.
