JoAnn Hearn died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2016, at Merit Health River Region Medical Center. She was 70.

Mrs. Hearn was a lifelong resident of Vicksburg. She was a member of the Rebekahs Lodge and a longtime carrier for the Vicksburg Post.

She was preceded in death by her husband James D. Hearn Sr.; two sons, James D. Hearn Jr. and Pat Hearn; and her parents, Joseph Owsley and Emma McBroom SeWell.

She is survived by her daughter, Debra Conerly (Paul) of Vicksburg; and a son, Greg Hearn of Vicksburg; and four grandchildren.

Services will be noon Friday, Feb. 26, 2016, at Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jennifer Southall officiating. Burial will follow the service at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon Friday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Clint Hearn, Chad Hearn, Carl Hearn, Robert Sibley, Jr. Michael “Quency” Hedrick, Billy Hearn, Danny Hearn and Keith Hearn. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Sibley, Sr., Charles Shingler, Ronald Shingler, Stevie Hearn, Bobbie Nevals, Drew Beard, Shaun Parrish, and Daniel Warner, Michael “Boo” Hedrick and Mary Sheffield.
