PATTISON —Para Lee Dorsey died Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016, at her home. She was 80.

Mrs. Dorsey was a choir member, secretary and honorary mother at White Hall M.B. Church.  She was a member of Golden Star No. 92 Order of Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alex Dorsey; parents, Ed Davis and Laura Harris; a brother, Barron Jeffries; and a sister, Jessie James Antoines.

Survivors include a son, Eddie Dorsey of Port Gibson; six daughters, Ora Lee Guinn, Laura Prather, and Daisy Dee, all of Vicksburg, Brenda Bailey and Shelia James and Jerrie Jackson, all of Port Gibson; two brothers, Lawrence Davis and Elvis Davis; six sisters, Mary Jones, Ruth Buie, Bessie Martin, Edwene Persons, Althea Davis and Wanda Davis; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be noon Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016, at White Hall M.B. Church in Pattison with the Rev. Dr. Leroy Dee Sr., pastor, officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home Inc. of Port Gibson.

Visitation will be Friday from 1 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home, with the family hour from 5 to 6 p.m., and Saturday at the church from 11a.m. until the service.
