Vicksburg-Warren County 9-1-1 dispatchers have reported a weather pattern with a tornado signature has been located north of Mound, La., headed toward central Vicksburg.

John Elfer, Warren County Emergency Management director, said a tornado signature means Doppler radar has indicated wind rotation or debris. The signature indicates a likely presence of some stage of tornado creation.
