Barbara Dickerson Morton, 63, passed away March 2, 2016, at her home surrounded by her family.

Funeral Services will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Vicksburg at 2 p.m. Friday, March 11, 2016, with visitation beginning at noon.

Visitation will be Thursday at Sebrell Funeral Home in Ridgeland from 6 to 8 p.m.

Barbara was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Utica Better Living Club and Mississippi’s Homemaker Volunteers.

She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Louis Dickerson; daughter, Crystal Cargile; brothers, William A. Dickerson and Carlton D. Dickerson.

Barbara is survived by her mother, Geraldine Cartwright Dickerson; children, Hampton Dickerson, Jim Cargile, Christopher Cargile, Henry Cargile, Emory “Steve” Morton II and Jack Morton (Jessica); sisters, Lena Haddock and Virginia Herrington (Everette); 14 grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
