Funeral services for Andrew Bell Jr. will be noon Friday, March 25, 2016, at Bypass Church of Christ with Brother Willie Nettle officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Visitation is Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Bell died Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at Merit Health River Region Medical Center. He was 81, and was a retired farmer for Aden Farms. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, the Rev. Andrew and Roberta Brown Bell; brother, Albert Bell; sisters, Jessie Wood, Sadie Lee James, Geraldine Holly and Princess Bell.

Survivors by his wife, Ethel Hall Bell of Vicksburg; three sons, Lee Andrew Bell of Vicksburg, Lee Otha Bell of San Francisco; and Leon Bell of Vallejo, Calif.; four daughters, Juanita Fisher and Rebecca Williams, both of Vallejo, Calif., and Christine Cameron and Victoria Williams, both of Vicksburg; four brothers Fred Bell of Chicago and Otis Bell, Louis Bell and Robert Bell, all of Vicksburg; sister, Flora Marvin of Chicago; 23 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, 15 great-great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, cousins and others.
