Karen Cynthia Sanders

Karen Cynthia Sanders died Saturday, April 9, 2016, at her home. She was 58.

Karen was born Jan. 15, 1958, to the late Willard Sanders and the late Grace Ford. She attended Warren Central High School and graduated from R.H. Watkins High School in Laurel in 1976.  She attended Jones County Junior College, where she majored in business, and then worked most of her life in customer service.

She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren. She loved the outdoors, good music, her pets, NASCAR, cooking, sewing and doing arts and crafts.

Karen leaves behind her daughter, Emily LaGrone; son-in-law, Anthony LaGrone; and two grandchildren, Madison and Jacob, all of Vicksburg.

She is also survived by two sisters, Angela Cotton of Vicksburg and Sharon Dever of Hattiesburg; two brothers, Jay Sanders and wife Donita, and Brian Sanders, both of Vicksburg; seven nephews; a niece; and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Wadsworth of Laurel; and her nephew, Donald Lee Cotton of Vicksburg.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 16, 2016, at Hawkins United Methodist Church in Vicksburg, with the Rev. Tommy Miller officiating.
