Funeral services for Albert Edward Tait Jr. will be 11 a.m. at Hebron Baptist Church in the Phoenix Community in Yazoo County on Monday, April 25, 2016.

Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m.

He was 88 years old.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert E. Tait Sr. and Viola (Cook) Tait; his two sisters; brother-in-law; and his son, Richard E. Tait.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Tait; and three children, Daryll Tait of Yazoo County, Tracey Tait of Vidalia, La., and Vicki (Tait) Teeter of Starkville. He has 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, one of whom is deceased.

Mr. Tait retired from the R. G. LeTourneau Co. of Vicksburg. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, Vicksburg for over 33 years and also served as a deacon.  Since 1998, he resided in the Phoenix Community of Yazoo County. He was a member and deacon of Hebron Baptist Church at the time of his death.
