Step back in time during the 10th annual Red Carpet Classic car show, where auto enthusiasts can view classic cars, tractors and motorcycles.

The Vicksburg Car Cruisers and Blackburn Motor Company will host the event, scheduled for Saturday at the dealership, 2135 North Frontage Road, and proceeds will benefit the Haven House Family Shelter.

“This year is the 80th anniversary for Blackburn Motor Company and the 30th anniversary for the Car Cruisers,” president of the Vicksburg Car Cruisers Pete Dionne said, and this year’s car show is looking to be bigger than in years past.

A vendor area and 50/50 raffles will also be onsite.

“This will be a fun event for the whole family,” executive director of Haven House Georgia Grodowitz said.

Inflatables will be on site for children as well as live music.

In addition to Saturday’s car show, a drive-in style movie will be offered beginning at 6 p.m. Friday at Blackburn Motor Company.

“The Munsters Go Home” will be the featured film and cartoons for the children and old Chrysler-Dodge commercials will also be shown.

The cost is $10 for a carload and light concessions will be sold.

There will be limited parking and moviegoers are asked to bring their own lawn chairs.
