Richard “Rick” Floyd died Sunday, May 1, 2016, at his residence. He was 64.

Born in Grenada, Rick was the son of the late Holmes LeGary Floyd and Audrey Lynn Ricks Floyd.  He retired from ERDC in the Instrumentation Services Division with 34 years of service.  Rick was a loving husband, father, and a loyal friend.

He is survived by his wife, Marianne; daughter, Katie Floyd, Vicksburg; and a son, Bryan Vance, Grenada. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Gary Alan Floyd and Stephen Lynn Floyd.

Visitation is at Riles Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2016.

Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Grenada at 1 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Tim Brown, pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Vicksburg, officiating.

Visitation will be at National Funeral Home in Grenada from noon until the graveside service.
