Funeral services for Arlene “Tussy” Jones will be 1 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2016, at First Baptist Church on Lane Street with the Rev. Roosevelt Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ms. Jones died Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at Merit Health River Region Medical Center.  She was 52.  She had worked for the Waffle House Restaurant and was a member of the First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Luther Preston Jones; and her sons, Bobby Jones Jr. and Bobby Duncan III.

Survivors include four sons, Cedric Jones of Gulfport, Corey Jones of Vicksburg, Bobby Joe Knight of Hattiesburg and Bobby Duncan II of Vicksburg; four daughters, Tawanna Flowers of Gulfport, Bianca Duncan of Texas, Brakeia Knight and Brakelshie Knight, both of Hattiesburg; mother, Cora Patterson Jones of Vicksburg; five brothers, Joe Patterson, Curtis Dale Patterson, Eddie Charles Patterson, Namon Jones and Eric Earl Jones, all of Vicksburg; sister, Carline Crawley of Vicksburg; eight grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
