LORMAN — Jerry D. Howard died Saturday, April 30, 2016, at his home. He was 59.

Mr. Howard was a member and deacon at Waterloo M.B. Church, a member of the laymen’s Club and a member of Prince Hall Lodge #21 of the Mason,

He was preceded in death by his father, James Howard; and two brothers, Alfred Howard and Jerome Howard.

Survivors include his wife, Rosemary Howard of Lorman; three sons, Jerry Howard of Port Gibson, Christopher Howard of Crete, Ill., and Desmond Howard of Utica; three daughters, Roshaunda Howard of Lorman, Stephanie Howard of Houston, Texas, and Mildred Howard of Utica; his mother, Catherine Womack of Lorman; three brothers, James Howard of Jackson, Clyde Howard of Taylorsville, Ky., and Eric Howard of Lorman; four sisters, Maxine Dixon of Mount Pleasant, Irene Ford of Maywood, Ill., Regeline Wilson of Westchester, Ill., and Regina Felton of Fayette; two uncles; an aunt; 13 grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
