Funeral services for Richard Earl McWilliams will be noon Saturday, May 7, 2016, at Greater Grove Street M.B. Church with the Rev. Dr. Casey D. Fisher officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. McWilliams died Thursday, April 28, 2016, at Merit Health River Region Medical Center.  He was 63. He worked at Penco Corp. and was a member of the Jackson Street M. B. Church.  He was a veteran of the U. S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, the Rev. Woodrow Webster and Mattie M. Holmes McWilliams Sr.; and a sister, Carolyn Thornton.

Survivors include two brothers, Marshall Sanders of Vicksburg and Woodrow Webster McWilliams Jr. of Columbus, Ga., three sisters, Valor Williams of Vicksburg, Beulah McWilliams Dillon of Pearl and Brenda Sue McWilliams of Brandon; and nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
